Hello World!

👋 Hey, I’m Corey, a freelance web artisan, lifelong tinkerer, and someone who’s been curious about the world around us for as long as I can remember. Back in the day, I was the kid pulling apart old electronics just to see what made them tick. That curiosity carried over to the early web, where I started breaking down code the same way — learning by pulling it apart, rebuilding it, and pushing myself to make something better. Over time that hobby turned into a craft, and that craft into a career. Along the way, I’ve built award-winning websites, custom web and mobile apps, and digital experiences that put equal weight on design, security, and usability.

Today, I spend my time at the intersection of design and engineering. On the surface, it’s clean, intuitive interfaces — underneath, it’s modern tools like Laravel, React, Vue, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines keeping things reliable and secure. I like chasing that sweet spot where elegance meets function, where code isn’t just efficient but feels crafted.

Outside of client work, I’m often in my homelab experimenting with new ideas, or contemplating scientific and philosophical conundrums and finding solutions to them that improve daily life and even rethink parts of our everyday world. I’m always fascinated by the overlap of creativity, technology, and human progress — and I believe even small projects can ripple outward in big ways. When I’m not coding or thinking, you’ll probably find me playing guitar, sketching out a new idea over coffee, or planning the next “impossible” project to bend into reality.
